Jevmadeeasy is an independent, unofficial interface for Jev, the model made by TypeSafe AI. It isn't affiliated with TypeSafe AI or Google. This page explains what it stores and why.
What we store
- Your Google account basics. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture link and a Google account ID. We use them only to sign you in and show who's signed in (your picture appears next to your messages). We don't ask for access to anything else in your Google account.
- Your TypeSafe API key. When you save it, it's encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it's stored, and only our server can decrypt it, when it sends your questions to TypeSafe. It's never shown back to the page; you only see a short hint like
ts_…a1b2. - Your chats. Your questions, the text you ask about, Jev's answers, and any short file excerpts shown in project answers are saved to your account so your history is there on any device. Each chat is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it's stored, and stays until you delete it or your account.
- A sign-in session. A secure, HttpOnly cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. We store only a one-way hash of it.
What we don't store
- Your project files. A folder or .zip you add is read in your browser and kept only there (it's removed when you sign out). When you ask about it, only the parts needed for that question pass through our server to TypeSafe; they aren't stored apart from excerpts shown in your saved answers.
- Logs of what you ask. Our server doesn't log your questions, text or answers.
- Tracking cookies. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't record what you type.
Who else sees data
- TypeSafe AI receives the questions and text you ask about, with your API key, to answer them. Their terms and policies apply to that.
- Google handles sign-in.
- Our hosting providers (Vercel, and Neon for the database) run the service.
We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.
Your choices
- Remove your saved API key at any time in the app's Settings.
- Delete your account in Settings. This removes your name, email, saved key, all your chats and all sessions straight away.
- Delete a chat from the sidebar, or all your chats in Settings. Deleted chats are removed from our database.
